Prince Naseem Hamed and Paulie Malignaggi said that Floyd is the greatest fighter to put on a pair of gloves and i'm sure if they asked more boxers then you would have more names saying so.

Hamed is a H/O/F'er and Mali is a world champion ... what the hell man

 

He would be destroyed by Leonard, Hearns, Robinson, duran and a host of others.

 

Skillwise and head to head, many modern fighters can hang in there with SRR.

Jordan, Sampras, etc can back their claim to fame with statistics. SRR had close to 200 with bigger names on it. Accomplishment-wise, PBF has only 39. He has a long way to go.

 

Those guys had no defense and relyed on one factor instead of all the factors.

Hearns was stiff and robotic ... he wouldn't be able to solve PBF's attack.

Leonard had no defense ... took alot of punches ... no different than DLH ... fast hands and thats it ...

Robinson would go the distance but wouldn't have been able to solve PBF's attack.

Those guys were fight the same kinda fighters and have never seen anything remotely close to Floyd.

I'm not going to argue with you guys ... why don't you find a fighter that either of those guys have fought and see if they resemble Floyd in the least bit.

His style is different than any other boxer in history.

Floyd has an underrated chin ... its hard to hit him flush ... he's fast as hell ... his defense is great ...

I'm not going to argue ... lets just agree to disagree ... I have a feeling that you guys aren't 80yrs old and haven't had the privelage to see SRR live ... and SRL & Hearns ... hasn't seen anything close to FLoyd.

Hearns had chin issues ... Leonard hadn't fought anyone between Benitez, Duran, Hagler, and Hearns ...

He was stopped by Hector Camacho ... so was Duran ... nough said ...

Hearns is still boxing ...

 

Thats all I need to know ... you acknowledge him as champion and thats all that matters. .

 

Against Hearns, PBF will never launch an attack. He barely did against DLH. Against Hearns PBF will lay on the ropes and do occassional pot shotting.

 

Hearns had no headmovement and was walking right in to punches ... he had a good jab but not movmement at all ...

He was tall and lanky and robotic ... Floyd would use his superior footmovement and footspeed ... to confuse Hearns and pot shot his way to UD. He may even attack the body to wear hearns down ... who has proved that his weakness was the body attack and lack of endurance.

Ray Leonard never outboxed anyone and simply used his handspeed to overwhelm his opponents.

Floyd wouldve blocked alot of his punches and attacked when given the opportunity. Don't act like Leonard wasn't hitable ... he often fought with his hands down and used his speed to get away with taking unneccessary punches.

Floyd is just as fast and would take advantage of that flaw and punch effectively.

Hearns would have little Floyd bleeding out of every orafice by the end of the 5th round. Get Real!! This is a guy who started at 147 and went on to beat an undefeated LHW champion!

Duran would introduce PBF to **** he ain't even had nightmares about.

Lenoard could do absolutley everything Floyd does only better.

And Robinson? Same story as Hearns, only worse.
