Wrong again Boo. PBF is a 15 round fighter and gets better the longer the fight goes. His stamina is unquestionable. PBF is the greatest 130 pound fighter ever and his speed and power at 130 give Arguello fits.
Duran at 135 wouldn't be the wipeout most of you project it would. I would probably lean towards Duran but it wouldn't be a blowout PBF is too good defensively especially at 140 and below to be blown out by anyone in history.:deal

I think Pryor could blow Floyd out at 140.

If he beats Cotto, he'll have beaten the best welterweight of his era and deserve a lot of credit for doing so. If he loses to Cotto, it shouldn't be a huge blow to his legacy as he'll have lost to the best opponent out there at the time. (As far as truly knowledgable boxing fans are concerned.) He's just not picking his opponents like he's the greatest of all time. DeLaHoya and Hatton 2 should not be happening.

Floyd is a 15 round fighter? His stamina is good, but 15 rounds is a very long time to maintain your composure against someone like Arguello who only needs one shot to close the show. PBF has never been in the ring with anyone who remotely resembles Alexis Arguello. This is not a question of boxing skills. It's a question of cerebral skills. In my opinion one of these two is the best ever at 130. My money is on the thin man!

At 147 Duran/Mayweather might be a very competetive fight. At 135 Duran would stop Floyd midway.

I don't, PBF doesn't have a glass jaw and has never really been hurt in a fight. He might win but he wouldn't just blow him out. Pryor would have trouble with PBF's defense his accuracy and counterpunching.

Like I said in another post peope act as if PBF had a glass jaw he's faced a big punchers like Chico and made him look silly while he was looking to land one shot. Arguello would make a huge mistake trying to land one big shot against PBF following him around the ring and getting picked apart for 15 rounds all the while losing rounds in the process. Not too mention you questioning PBF's ring intellegence. Come on man PBF is the smartest fighter in the game. I doubt Arguello has any higher ring IQ than PBF does...you're really reaching.:-(

Here's the problem, I never said that. If one NFL loses by 24 points and another losses by 48 points, does that mean that the team that lost by 24 points wasn't dominanted because they didn't get whipped as bas as the team that lost by 48? The answer is no.

Once again, Zab a had two good rounds and was thoroughly beaten for most of that fight. You question me as a fan of the sport. However, I can tell you exactly what happened in that fight and I'm basing my opinion of that. You don't even know what rounds you scored for Zab. You clearly don't know what you're talking about if you believe that fight could've been scored 7-5. I gave you 8 rounds that Mayweather clearly won. If you think 10-2 or 11-1 is ridiculous, then name me the rounds that Zab clearly won. If you can't ,then maybe you should go watch the fight again before you start questioning my analysis of it.

I did not question Floyd's ability to think during a fight. I just said Arguello was better at it. And if you think Arguello would "follow floyd around looking for 1 big shot" You need to watch some more tape. He'd be studying Floyd like my old tom cat studies a mouse before he catches, kills, and eats it. and he'd end up with similar results.

He wouldn't. The guy had a tendency to leave himself open and would have trouble against a good counterpuncher(Arguello was giving him problems in the first fight until the bottle incident). Pryor could definately beat Lil Floyd, but he definately wouldn't blow him out; especially if the bout is under close scruntiny and cheating ass Panama Lewis is unable to give "assistance"

Pryor was having trouble with Arguello's power and body shots, not so much his counter-punching, as his stamina, workrate, and largely underrated accuracy got the better of Arguello throughout the fight for the most part.

Arguello was a worse matchup for Pryor style-wise with his power and body-punching than Floyd with his pot-shotting.

I think Floyd would beat Arguello at 130 as well, due to styles, though I rate Arguello higher all time. But comparing this fight to the Corrales fight is ridiculous. They are both tall fighters with power, that is where the comparisons stop. Arguello was capable of cutting off the ring(though he wasn't a master) and was amazingly accurate when he timed you. He was also a great body puncher and a much smarter fighter than Corrales. It would be a closer fight than that one for sure, as Corrales was quite limited, and Arguello would have Floyd in trouble at times as well. But over 12 I see Floyd winning a Decision.

You truly are a dumb **** m8. Worst thread i Have ever seen. U cannot compare to the greatest fighter that ever lived to the greatest track star. Wot a moron u r. This thread has angered me so much. Sugar ray may have been dropped, but he fought much tougher competition, in a tougher era. He also got off the canvas to win most of those fights, and the ones that he didnt he avenged later on. No one of his 170+ opponents can lay claim to having him beaten. He was also a gentleman out of the ring, not a spoilt little rat like ur ***** gayweather. Ur a fukin tool and should be banned from this site and boxing in general.

your nuthuggin opinion is not important enough for me to go back and watch those 12 rounds . . . it wasnt that good of a fight anyway.

I remember scoring it 8 - 4. I could reasonably see 7-5. But 11 - 1 is just plain stupid - theres no two ways about it.

Cal-Lacy was a perfect example of "dominating" thats why I bring that up. . . as was Shane-Collazo. Fraud-Zab is not nearly on the same level.
