ESPN should be furious at these one sided drubbings being shown on their network.

 

Honestly there needs to be a Twitter or social media campaign calling them out. "Here's another uncompetitive showcase boxing match on ESPN". And if they say they are fine then, give it even odds and lose your ass

 

I think they only care about the ratings and it seems like they are happy with TR.

Someone once made the case that boxing comes relatively cheap to other sports programming and boxing fills a lot of "dead months" when other sports are on a break.
ESPN might be using boxing as just filled programming at this point.

They absolutely are using them that way, but I'm not entirely convinced they are actually happy with Top Rank. It will be interesting to see if they renew them or not when their contract is up

 

What in the **** is Estrada talking about? She retires because she's unhappy. Did we need a sit down interview with her to announce her retirement?

I just can't give a **** about women's boxing. With a extremely few exceptions, they are just a bunch of pillow fisted amateurs who bore me to tears, yet every announcer, network and promotion pretend that's not the case. Man I'm ornery today, I blame Tim Bradley and Marc Kreigel.

And I expect another mismatch.

 

I actually watch a fair amount of women's sports and enjoy them quite more than a lot of my peers, but unfortunately boxing isn't one of them.
