Rick Reeno once wrote an article on how Marquez asked for 3 mil to fight Morales after Morales was done at the elite level. When Beristan gave us the truth, Reeno tried to say that Beristan and Marquez turned down Morales. That's when I knew that they convoluted articles at ****Scene. Poppapump is an ok guy. Reeno is straight trash along with his trash ass mods.

Discussions for a fight which couldn't happen any time soon, because Golovkin has unification fights lined up. Ward's team knew that it couldn't happen, just needed publicity.

So it changed from 5 minutes to 36 minutes? Did they have a stop watch checking the time?

If none of this was discussed then what kinda of focking offer did they send. And regardless they should have responded with a counter offer after the turn down. Like 50/50 at 166 or something. This way Ward's team can say that they turned down 2 offers during a legit negotiation. Ward's team is horrible at making a fight. That's why he;s been inactive. Everything he touches turns to sh!t. Which is the complete opposite from Jesus Of Nazareth!

"If you don’t want to fight a fighter, think it’s not your style, just say that," Ward said on the video. "The truth is, they never wanted the fight. The reality is we offered him a fight six, seven months ago, before we knew he had a pay-per-view coming up ... 50%. He turned it down in five minutes. The short and long of it is they never wanted the fight."

Not sure. But Y. Gonzalez at 175 is the front runner I think.

Fair enough but he's quoting Michael Yormark from Rock Nation. That has to count for something...

Ward fans don't want to think about Kovalev.

This becoming ridiculous. Let me add one last comment. If GGG didn't exist nobody would be talking about Andre Ward. If there was no GGG what would there be to say about Ward? His great win over Paul Smith? The Super Six trinket?

The somewhat depressing truth is this: Most Ward "fans" dislike GGG more than they actually like Andre.

This is why you don't see many Ward threads, and you can't see any that don't revolve back into Golovkin, a middleweight, within a few posts. He's supposedly getting in line to fight Kovalev, and it's still Golovkin that the argument inevitably goes back to.
