Roc Nation Is The Worst Boxing Promotion Company

It's clear that the staff of Roc Nation boxing promotion are the most incompetent promoters in the sport.
They are responsible for not keeping Andre Ward active and securing meaningful fights for him since he signed with RN.
The Cotto-Canelo fight was successful because Cotto took control and made it happen as the fight's co-promoter.

Now the fools at Roc Nation has shown they can't even manage planning and documentation leaving Rigondeaux without a UK visa to make the ****ens fight.

Roc Nation is going the way of 50cents promotion, a law suit waiting to happen. It's clear that Jay-Z throws big money at fighters to get them to sign with RN, but then can't deliver the goods because they are being run by incompetent staff. :smoke

 

Those aren't the most favorable terms for Ward and they took their sweet time in lining up Barrera.
As you recall Barrera was in the news expressing frustration why the contract was taking so long and not done.
Roc Nation's biggest mistake is the exact same mistake 50cents made, not succeeding in forming a good relationship with Al Haymon and PBC.

 

That company is no more. 50 isn't attempting to save it by restructuring. It's gone. Done. Defunct. All that's left are boxers with lawsuits.

I expect, at the rate Roc Nation is going, they too will follow SMS's path to bankruptcy.:smoke

 

I have a ton of respect for Dre.
He is far from a typical rapper like 50 and Jay-Z.
Had Dre not become a rapper, he could have been successful in a number of other areas. He is leagues above idiots reciting nursery rhymes like 50 and Jay.

As example, Dre actually understood the tech of acoustics and was able to make an educated decision to go with Lovine.
50 and Jay-Z have absolutely no idea of real business which is why they were easily duped in hooking up with fast talking incompetent business partners.

The fact that Roc Nation's managers failed to even anticipate and file the correct Visa application for Rigo shows they have no idea of what they are doing and trying to do on the job training.

Whatever is happening at Roc Nation, it ain't working to well. Somebody better tell Jay-Z that boxing promotion is way different than re-branding Chinese made clothes.
