Yes he had little options. Al Haymon wanted nothing to do with him. I think Roc Nation was desperate. They also tried to sign Wilder, Thurman and Broner. All 3 turned them down. Cotto accepted but that was like a retirement package for him he couldn't refuse.:deal All the younger fighters said no thanks!

Ward is very close to Hopkins and said during his down time with the lawsuit he only got through it with the help and support of Hopkins. So, I would think that Ward had a very good chance of signing with GBP and would be surprised if GBP did not in fact extend him an offer. Maybe the offer didn't include a large signing bonus, but it's clear that BHOP and Ward think highly of each other.
I don't think GBP is the ideal home for Ward, but it seems to be a much better choice relative to Roc Nation. Had Ward been with GBP he would have fought 2-3 times already. You know BHOP wouldn't allow him to duck any fighter.

All the best music was created by musicians on LSD. :yep

Check out Tavis Smiley's interview with Carlos Santana and the interview with the most rapper sampled band leader, George Clinton.
LOL, Clinton says he is currently suing 150 rappers who sampled his music and never paid him.

Mozart used figures Bach created. Jimi Hendrix stole from muddy waters and chuck berry. You could literally go on and on

Dylan, in an interview talked about Hendrix's cover of All Around The Watchtower and said he no longer does his version of it at concerts, but uses Jimi's version instead.
However, you are confused. Mozart and Bach wrote and published in a time when copyright laws didn't exist.
Covering a song is totally different then sampling pieces of a song and pasting them together.
Those artists you named above paid Dylan and other song writers for covering their material, but first they received permission to use their material.

Rappers don't ask permission and outright steal. The majority of them won't pay until you threaten to sue them.
Plus, song writers aren't usually flattered how their songs are used or sound in rap. Rappers don't ask permission for use and the artist generally doesn't know about being ripped off until they hear it or someone tells them.

 No BHOP didn't support Ward as legal advice, that's silly.

Ward was frustrated that he couldn't get any matches and said BHOP explained to him how the "inside" promoters and managers worked behind the scene to sabotage any potential matches for him due to the lawsuit. BHOP advised him to just keep training and things would be resolved in time.
Basically, just chill, and this too will pass. :yep

The question I have is: why?

What is stopping these companies from making fights?

That's BS. He was offered fights and he turned them down. As far as other promoters? Of course they wont want to work with a promoter whom the fighter is suing for no good reason. Hopkins is an idiot thug who shouldn't give anybody advice. Go rob some old ladies Bhop.:patsch

Crazy talk there. Starting to sound like Sanchez.

What fights were offered to Ward during that time ans why did he turn them down?

Also, that BS about promoters not working with a fighter because he sued his promoter is child's talk.
When ODLH sued penny pinching Arum every other promotion company wanted him. Same for Mayweather and the fighter who never robbed an old lady, Hopkins.
All of your post reads like a TMZ LGBT gossip reporter. :yep

Its like any new venture has + and - times. I think they even lost money on Cotto. Roc Nation really thought that Cotto vs Canelo would do Floyd/Manny stlye PPV numbers but it didn't. $15 million per fight. Cotto vs TBA doesn't bring in no $15 million.
