ROC Nation may actually be in the business of boxing.

At first I initially thought it might just be a hobby for JayZ. It seemed like he wasn't going to showing his own cards unless he had a major network footing most of the bill. I don't agree on BET but Roc Nation is pulling their weight. I wonder what numbers they are going to do.

"Promotional newcomer Roc Nation Sports looks like its poised be much busier in the upcoming months. Roc Nation has signed the likes of Andre Ward and Miguel Cotto to high priced deals in 2015 but has thus far only staged one show - with their next card to take place on April 17th."

"Rumors are abound in the industry that Roc Nation is set to do time-buys with BET and Fox Sports 1 (which televised their initial promotion on January 9th and are televising their upcoming show). The word is, Roc Nation supposedly bought 8 dates on BET and 12 on Fox Sports 1."

    Over on that other site!

Not going to happen WBA stripped Froch before purse bid because he and Ward weren't seeing eye to eye. That's all I heard so far. They have Sturm-Chudinov fighting for the belt. They should of let it go to purse bid but I'm sure it would of been bad if Froch won it and Ward refused to go to Nottingham. I am sure they are just siding with a fighter who is not retiring and the best at SMW.

Yeah I just read that

    "
The WBA recently ordered Ward to make a mandatory defense against Carl Froch, who held the WBA 'regular' title at 168. But now the fight with Felix Sturm and Fedor Chudinov, on May 9th, is potentially being upgraded from a WBA-interim title to a 'regular' title fight. There is plenty of confusion with the multiple titles the WBA issues out within the same division."

We really didn't need a Ward-Froch fight it would of ended the same way but WBA is being shady by not letting it go to purse bid anyway. If 2 fighters can't come to an agreement there are regulations put in place to negotiate the fight for them. I wonder if WBA just wants to cash in on Sturms popularity and Wards longevity as Froch is retiring. I don't see Sturm fighting Ward though.

Did we need the rematch no but it would have been worth it ..

I personally want the rematch but if it's not going to happen I hope we get Ward vs the winner of Degale Dirrell

I hope it's Degale just because Ward has already said he won't fight Dirrel even though Dirrel says he would fight Ward. If both Dirrels are champs and Ward is champ that's 3 champs who won't fight each other. Both Dirrels won't fight each other but would fight Ward but Ward says he won't figh them and AA isn't fighting any other champ. So we would have 4 champs not willing to fight each other. :patsch

Him and Al Haymon have a history. It's a good rivalry.

Ward said he would not fight Dirrel. Are you sure about that?

Yea he said that he is too close with the Dirrel brothers to fight them. But there is recent video of Andre Dirrel saying he would fight and wants to fight Ward. So Wards comments make no sense the feeling isn't mutual and Andre Dirrel definitely has the skills to cause Ward a lot of problems.
