haha rock said he was going to ko toney on best damn tonight toney just laughed and said your going to ko me????:nono what are your thoughts any chance?? toney got one of the best chins out there im not sure if its going to happen
Toney's chin, coupled with his defense, makes him very hard to hit with big clean shots. Hasim has no chance.
Very unlikely, Toney has shown that he's almost impossible to hurt due to his insane chin and defence.
toney in bad shape maybe against a prime rahman, but it appears to be an old rahman against a semi in shape toney, i say toney ud
If you go to the BDSSP's website it has a video posted. Toney's face looks similar to how it looked when he trained with Billy Blanks. It's hard to pin down a number because I figured he weighed around 225 with the photos released a few days prior, so I'll say he's high 220's now.
Picking Rahman to win by KO or TKO. Toney is too old to keep up the movement and defense at this age let alone keep up his punches for 12 rounds. I'm thinking Toney will come into this fight looking to KO Rahman and exchange, will be really surprised if he can take punches well enough at this age.
Toney hasn't been knocked out or even been close to being knocked out in 79 pro fights, unless he's not totally shot, which I don't think he is, he's not getting knocked out this time either, at least not by a washed up Rahman who had a hard time knocking out Zuri Lawrence... The possibilty of Toney knocking out glass chinned Rahman is actually higher than the other way round. Still, my prediction is Toney UD Rahman.
I will never believe anything Hasem, says after the Maskev II fight I come to realize that he is a one hit wonder
I dunno whats gonna happen but i'd much rather see Rahman win. And of course its possible for a Rahman KO, Sam Peter hurt Toney so why cant Rahman? He punches as hard. I seem to be hearing a different Tony at least for now I've heard no smack talking that is so common for him. Maybe hes embarrassed after all the talk in previous fights and after his last defeat agains Peter.
If Toney is ever going to get stopped, that time is coming soon. He's been getting caught more the last couple fights and there's also the simple deterioration of age. Not that I'd put money on Rahman to do the deed, but each fight increases the chances. As for laughing at Rahman saying it, well you don't sell an awful lot of tickets going "I shall outbox him to a relatively comfortable points verdict!" Toney is saying the same thing, despite his (to date) tiny knockout percentage at heavyweight.
