and Ali could have cut to cruiser. How about Rocky Balboa? He was lean but had a lot more mass than the Rocky III era.
Rocky Balboa era, absolutely. Did he when younger though? His physique in the Rocky III era was the look of clean living, crazy dedication to training, and endless weight cutting. Plenty of middle-range weight boxers have looked like that. Hagler, for example.
180 pounds and soft...ffs Marciano was always in shape for his fights. Not a pound more than he needed to be. Every taken a look at photos of Rocky....muscular and fit (no homo).
Now that's not entirely true is it markus. I mean, underneath the skin fat and muscle all people the same height have the exact same bone structure and density.
No they don`t, fighters have a best fighting weight and M.Tyson`s wrists are far bigger than a middles, he`d have to stave himself to make middleweight.
How would you know, markus? You've only ever seen a bulky or fat Mike Tyson. And what's "best fighting weight" got to do with this? Bulky vegan 200lb Tyson could easily shred another 40lbs like AlphaDestiny.
Are you serious? Most LHWs dehydrate around 10 lbs. It's not ridiculos, it's standard. Even Kovalev, who's known for his lack of discipline, dehydrated more than 10 lbs on several occasions. LHWs that really push themselves dehydrate more in the 20 lbs region before weigh-in. Here's a list of some weights at fight night and 10 lbs difference is common even for smaller guys: http://basementgymboxing.blogspot.com/2014/01/fight-night-boxing-weights-list-of.html It would be no problem at all for someone of Rocky's size and discipline.
