Always taught very highly of fielding and has always been underrated due to being over shadowed by degale and groves and now Callum smith A lot of people taught he wouldn't make it past British level now he looks to be heading towards European and fringe world level very soon I think he will at the very least get a world title shot at some stage and could very well win a world title
Think Eddie is positioning him for a shot at the WBA regular title once Froch decides to retire and as a result vacate. Never really been massively impressed by Rocky but Saturday was his best performance so far and will be interesting to see how far he can go.
Hard to read much into that performance given Alcoba had been out for 18 months. Really needs a step-up at this point.
His always impressed since back when he dominated prizefighter with barely no pro experience, his a slow burner of a prospect but his got a good skill set , very good power and can take a punch well People need to get behind him more
Rocky is a very decent fighter. He hits hard, he delivers his punches correctly and he is tough. He messed up big time for the Adamu fight, but he redeemed himself this time around. He deserves credit.
Ya he just wasn't up for that fight and it get him and upset his momentum But his one of the of the best prospects out there
Still find it hard to see where Rocky's currently at. I want him to do well and hope he does but his last 2 fights, do they really tell us much? Gonzalez hasn't fought since Groves 18 months ago, then against an old Adamu he bust both his hands so seen out a decision (fair play) in hardly a great fight whilst coming in over the weight limit (not so much fair play). Time will tell.
Worth pointing out that Gonzalez's fight with Groves was just over 13 months ago, rather than 18 - reasonable difference between the two
