Trinidad by KO. No one ever outpunched Trinidad. Graziano would try to do it, and he had the power to deck him, but Tito had that ability to recover and keep going strong, and Graziano neither had the defense nor the chin to withstand the two-fisted fury.

 

Trinidad.....punchers chance to Rocky and that´s it......a good punchers chance perhaps because Trinidad´s chin never was great.....

 

Yeah but that's because it was often the likes of Lueshing, ancient pendleton etc trying to do so.Even at best it was the hardly inspiring likes of yory Boy Campas, Mayorga or Joppy that tried it.

Don't get me wrong Tito was a great offensive fighter, but i've never liked or bought into the whole belief of absolutely needing to box against him to be successful.Nothing but regurgitated HBO shite.

IF a fighter has enough offensive ability, talent and toughness there's no reason they can't eventually punch holes in Tito.He's hardly some Dick Tiger legged, physical powerhouse with a cast iron chin.

Graz would have a much better chance than someone like Joppy, who has a mere fraction of the same firepower.Tito winning a trilogy but dropping a fight sounds about right to me.Then again, Tito might just retire after he losses:yep.

 

Trinidad will be up and down like a yo-yo.
Graziano is underrated.

 

I fancy Graziano in this one...for me Tito has no form at 160 to suggest he could withstand what Graziano could dish out...what Kevin Leushing started, Graziano could definitely finish...Graziano by brutal KO imo...

 

I think Tito was a far , far more skilled fighter .. his power was exception straight up to 160 ... I saw him destroy Joppy at the Felt Forum ringside and was amazed at his brutal speed and power ... I see him flattening the game but completely out classed Rocky early ..

 

Trinidad's getting overrated, and Graziano seriously underrated.

Trinidad was hurt badly by welters. He never faced a puncher in Graziano's league.

There were only two men who knocked Graziano out - Tony Zale and Ray Robinson - and Trinidad isn't in that class.

Graziano was a beast. This wouldn't end well for Trinidad.

 

What welter badly hurt him ,,,, let's not confuse the flash knockdown with badly hurt ...

 

Lueshing had him in a bad way.
If a guy like that can knock him around and down and have him backing off for a minute, Graziano would knock him all over the ring.
Even in the UK, no one had ever heard of Kevin Lueshing.

Graziano had disgusting power in comparison to these guys who knocked Trinidad down.

I remember seeing Leushing get sparked by Adrian Carew (later Dodson) in 25 seconds of the first round in the London South East divisionals in 1990. I later saw Leushing get TKOd by Geoff McCreesh in a British Welter title fight.

To suggest that a guy (Tito) who got floored by Leushing at Welter could withstand the power of Graziano is fanciful to me. Graziano was a completely different animal.

 

I don't think Tito was badly hurt at all .. I see Rocky getting crushed like a Mayorga did except Tito would not be coming off a long layoff ... no knock on Rocky but he was a wild brawler and more of a super middleweight to boot ...

OK, if that's what you think. But he looked hurt to me, and regardless of his degree of hurt he was physically pounded around and then dropped, and then put on the back foot again when he got up.
Graziano had the power to knock him all over the ring.

Nobody except Zale (on his third attempt) and Robinson could be said to have "crushed" Graziano in any way shape or form.
Trinidad simply isn't in that league.
Graziano was a wild brawler - with incredible power.
Trinidad wouldn't be able to take that power.
In my opinion.
