    How old was the rock when he started boxing? when did he find out he could punch that hard!

    Given the where and the how Rocky grew up, I'm sure he knew he could hit at a young age, probably as a tot. That kind of right hand you're born with.

    ..he found out he could punch that hard when he fought welterweights instead of middleweights. rocky himself sometimes said, "I'm the world's best middleweight in the welterweight division." actually he was a smaller middleweight..... came in most of the time at around 155-6.

    So what are some of his weight cutting stories?
    Eg was he one of the niggest there?
    Would his size be normal today

    I think if Rocky Graziano can make it to the international boxing hall of fame, Arturo Gatti can. They both weren't known for having the best technique - Graz was known for his punching power, and Gatti for his heart.

    Graz only held the middleweight title for like about a year. And his legacy, apart from his charisma seems to always be about his trilogies with Tony Zale. And Arturo's fights with Mickey Ward are recent symbols for heart and fighting spirit. Also, I don't Gatti has ever found himself among the top 10 p4pers...

    Yeah, I seem to be very optomistic that Gatti can get in :tong
