It's certainly one of the most motivational when it comes to working out.

Rocky III is the best imo. Mister T, Clubber Lane. If I had to remake Rocky III, I would of had Clubber Lane win the rematch.

I said this in the movie quotes thread, but the funniest part of the movie is this:

    [During the second Lang-Balboa fight]

[Balboa landed approximately 200 punches in the first round, and got hit maybe twice. Lang knocked Balboa down twice in the second round.]

Commentator - "Here we go for round 3, tough rounds to call so far".

The movies are great, but it's calls like this that just make you shudder...

To be fair though, the commentators were fired after that fight, and never used again.

From memory, they called the fights in the 4th movie too didn't they? :D:lol:

"I can't get over the size of the Russian". Yeah, I know that voice!

    Yes. You're right.
Still, they did go from 'title fights' to 'exhibition bout'.

Well they did say it was tough rounds to call as in who was in the lead.

I supposeing they used the round system, and so Clubber's knockdowns did not count unless it was a draw. So it was 1-1 each going into round 3.

Come on, Rocky sort of brought boxing back after the decline of Ali. Rocky played a big part in keeping boxing in the normal viewers eyes, no it was Not Hagler or Hearns that did it. It was Rocky, Tyson and Cooney.
