On ProBoxing.com I read about Rocky Juarez's next fight will be verses Vincente Escobedo (23-3-0) with wins over a past prime Kevin Kelley and Walter Estrada. Also losses to Robert Guerrero, Michael Katsidis and Daniel Ximeniez.

I am a fan of Juarez because he shows heart and always pushes forward in the hardest cases such as the Chris John fight where he lost a close UD and a Draw. Same with the Barrera fights. Good fighter. I wanna see him get some more wins now. Who wins this fight?

( fight aired on TELEFUTURA september 23rd

Message to anyone still with their hopes up for Juarez: GIVE UP.

  4. Rocky is a likable guy and he was a good fighter a few years back... But he's pretty much done at the world level and should seriously think about retirement.

    It's time to retire Rocky.

It's crazy how mediocre his pro career turned out. I remember before the Soto fight on a Vargas undercard they were hyping him to be the next big thing!

Juarez should win but it wont matter as he will find a way to lose his next big fight.

He's got power, punch resistance, talent, amateur pedigree, pro experience with greats...:conf Sometimes they just don't have the spark that makes a natural champion. :-(

I like Rocky personally, but he's one of my least favorite fighters to watch. The fact that he got dates for so long on HBO says a lot about how lazy their matchmaking has been. He should retire.
