Suppose Rocky Marciano was the #1 contender when Joe Louis teturned from the military. How would the division panned out?

Would Louis have enough left to turn back Rocky's challenge? How would Marciano handle Billy Conn or a younger Joe Walcott? interesting match ups.

He KO's them all. A truly prime Louis beats Marciano. Conn might have some success with his speed but ultimately is worn down by Rocky. Interestingly, Walcott is a tough fight for me to pick.

Post WWII, Louis still a great fighter, had obviously lost a step.He would really have to put in a great performance to turn back Rocky. He did it when he had to at this stage. But Rocky would take a huge effort, What say you? Could Joe do it?

Possibly but I'd still make Rocco the favorite. If I had to choose I say Rocky stops him, but later, sometime in the 13th round.
