Marciano would struggle and may even lose. I see hm having problems with Tucker, Tubbs, Thomas, Holmes, Douglas amongst others.

Tyson is unpredictable. Does he clean house and retired undefeated (as he had planned after Spinks) or does he screw up his career and lose to some nobody.

Will Don King be around in the 50s too?

... definitely Lewis and Bowe along with Ruddock, Smith, Tucker, Bruno and maybe even Tubbs and Tillis. Size does matter when the size difference is as dramatic as it would be in many of these matchups. Rocky would have to work way too hard to get inside and the guys mentioned above would bust him up pretty bad.

Marciano and Tyson were about the same size, weight wise is other story.

First off knock off Lewis and Bowe, who ruled the 1990's, that was after Tyson's hay day. 2nd off, Tyson never got in the ring with Bowe. So I dont see why people bring these guys up. Marciano imo would have been well retired by the time Bowe and Lewis started coming around in the mid 1990's.

Smith, Tucker, Bruno ant even in the same class as Rocky. Sure there gaints, but non of em were as good as Rocky. A good Big man beats a good little man, ok, but a good big man DOES not beat a GREAT little man.

IMO Tyson cleans house, until he meets either Charles or Walcott. Then he gets outboxed and exposed like in the Holyfield bouts. As far as Rocky, I think his record stays perfect. Marciano is just too great to be beaten by anyone on Tysons record.

fair comment. Marciano struggles but wont become disillusioned, remains focused and cleans up. Tyson cleans up for as long as he remains focused - he will become disillusioned, its in his nature. you can bank on that.

how heavy is tyson in the 1950s? I think he would be tremendous at 190lb. doing all the running and circuits they did then he would not be so enhanced.

Marciano would fight in the cruiserweight division.

Heavyweights in 1980s were much bigger than they were 30 years earlier.

    Tyson cleans house easily.

Marciano does not. His size and style would not hold up against much bigger, stronger and often harder hitting men. He would outlast some but lost to multiple others ... no knock on him ... there is a reason why there are weight divisions .. he's a top ten all time pound for pound guy under 200 without question ... that's a hell of an accomplishment in it's own right ...

Tyson would walk through anyone from rocky's era, and rocky in the 80s would be fighting at cruiserweight

I forgot about Tucker  Tucker was allot better than most give him credit for too. People talk allot about the Holmes/Spinks wins but the Tucker, Thomas or Tubbs ones maybe the outright best. Reminds me of the time when I simultaneously had 3 girlfriends who's names began with T. I think Douglas at his best is better than Tucker though
