Could the best Rocky wear down the 231 pound McCall or is McCall too big and hit too hard.

It would likely end in some sort of decision win for Marciano, and wouldn't look pretty!

Yeah, can't see Rocky stopping him, but he would win a clear decision here.

If they could fight, I'd take the bigger, stronger, faster athlete who also had great stamina and durability, and he didn't cross his feet when he moved to the left. RM, NEVER got into a ring with a 230 pound athlete like McCall.

Oh, I'm sure someone will bring up that McCall lost a decision to a short heavyweight, Orlin Norris, but he outweighed Marciano by around 25 pounds and was much quicker.

Any bet on McCall is bull****. Marciano UD 7 days a week and twice on Sundays. McCall was incredibly mentally weak and inconsistent. Marciano was the opposite.

This. That's why many of these "Rocky vs (fill in the 80s/90s fighter)" are ridiculous. You KNOW Rocky was there to fight, every fight, while most of these hypothetical opponents were 50/50 at best whether they'd show up in decent shape or whether they'd just come off of a 6 month long cocaine/prostitutes/booze binge. The very best McCall would be a tough matchup for Rocky, but what's the chance that version of McCall would show up?

A vote for McCall is the stupid man’s bet. Take away the ROIDS and watch that physique that impresses Pat so much fade away.

Prime, non-cracksmoking McCall, matches and surpasses Marciano in the skills department and vastly outperforms him in the physical department. Stoppage round 11. Oliver wine.

There is NO WAY that an Oliver McCall beats a Rocky Marciano, no matter how creative and persuasive the revisionista get.

What like there's no way he beats Lennox Lewis?

Marciano gets up off the canvas to win on points. A late rally edges it.

If LL had emulated Rocky in being focused, prepared, and in shape, he would never have lost to McCall in the first place.

Like it’s just physically impossible? NO WAY McCall could ever pull it off?
