McCall told me himself that the best smaller legends of old were as good or better than the giants of today. Although Marciano wasn't mentioned specifically.

    Marciano UD
McCall will make it a brutal fight.

Let's be honest, any fighter can hurt another fighter. Is it impossible that OM could hurt Rock?
He certainly could, he ko d the much bigger Lewis. Had him on Bambi legs. Can't discount the fact it could happen, but I don't see it happening here. I see a mauling, rough ill tempered fight with both men getting good shots in.
I see the pace of Marciano being the main thing here, Rock out works him to get a decision, in a fight that covers neither man in glory.

Marciano would stop Joshua's glass chin ass.

Tall fighters have weak chins for the most part. Vitali is one of the few tall fighters with a chin.

In trench warfare when fatigue sets in I believe Oliver McCall had a bit of a sparring partners mentality. He would be resigned to get in good work to a championship fighter but not doing enough to win.
Oliver didn't have the skill set 2 use his height and range effectively against Rocky Marciano. He would let Rocky inside and Rocky would find him. I think McCall would tell you after the fight that Rocky was powerful.

McCall would do well in the opening round, jabbing, keeping Marciano at bay, then his withdrawal symptoms would kick in and he'd be reduced to a nervous wreck, sobbing, circling the ring, not even bothering to fight. He'll go down in history as the man that could have put a blemish on Rocky's perfect record, if only he wasn't a drug addict dragged out of rehab by a merciless promoter and shoved in the ring like a piece of meat.

What indications were that Lewis wasn’t focused, prepared and in shape when he fought McCall? Sometimes you don’t have to try and look for excuses. Lewis in the best shape of his life would most likely still be KOed if he was caught by the shot that McCall hit him with.

There's a reason we haven't had a 185 pound heavyweight champion in over half a century.
