    Choke thinks he’s been watching Louis Brion II on YouTube but he’s wrong.

    this is NOT the second fight between old Louis and Brion but the first one. I know the commentator continuously talking about this is the second one but it is not true. Maybe they wanted to air something worthy back then on TV and they believed this is a different fight from the others of old Louis but they have made a mistake. There is the full fight tape of their first meeting on youtube (with introduction so you can make sure it is the first fight as Frank Gilmer was announced as the referee) and you can check the actions from any round it is the same fight filmed from different angles of the ring. Period. So this is the fight tape of Joe Louis vs Cesar Brion I.

    Yes That’s the first fight. You are correct. There are incorrectly listed versions of that fight on youtube. The second fight Brion wore white shorts and Fred Aposoli was the referee. I’ve seen that one. It is impossible to mistake Fred with the other guy.

    It used to be on YouTube but it isn’t now. I saw that one and it was a different fight. Louis looked better. It’s gone but it used to be on YouTube. You need to locate the fight where Brion has white shorts on with Fred as the referee. Let me know when you find it.

    Brion throws a right at Louis

    1951-08-01 : Joe Louis 207½ lbs beat Cesar Brion 197 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

    The Associated Press reported: "A crowd of approximately 12,000 paid $66,525 to see Louis batter the game South American all over the ring in the closing rounds. Brion stood up under punishment that would have flattened many a fighter. He was groggy from the seventh through the tenth. His face was puffed and blood flowed from cuts on the side of each eye. It was Louis’ second 10-round win over Brion. This one was far more decisive than their melee in Chicago last November." [1]

    Yes. He looks built up. Not traditionally a boxers physique is it?

    He did his best work in the 220's so I am going to go out on a limb and say that was his ideal weight.

    As a group, I would say that Islanders don't follow the BMI model and yet produce incredible athletes.

    Does it get ******ed again?

    A good weight for the Tua man was 225lb, which is 40 (FOURTY!) more pounds than Rocky @185lb or TWO WEIGHTCLASSES ABOVE him.
    15lb difference my ass :facepalm:

    At a still maturing 23 he was 225lbs Marciano turned pro at 25, for a couple of his fights he was around 180lbs.
    Look numb nuts, there's no way you are going to convince anyone that Tua and Marciano are even remotely compatible as far as physiques go so forget about it.Marciano looks like a midget when you compare their measurements.
    Marciano
    Chest 39"
    Biceps14"
    Forearm12"
    Neck 16.75"
    Thigh 22"
    Calf14"

    Tua
    Chest 50" = 11inches bigger
    Biceps19.5" =5.5inches bigger
    Forearm15" = 3 inches bigger and an inch bigger than Marciano's bicep
    Neck19" = 2.25inches bigger
    Thigh 30" = 8 inches bigger
    Calf19.75" =5.75inches bigger
    Result he is ,surprise a much bigger man!

    He was also clearly on gear imo and anyone else's who is rational would agree that the incredible weight gain/muscle mass for a 'athlete' was not natural or possible in the 50s

    The question is was he bigger or near the same size? At 23 he was 225lbs, 36lbs more than Marciano ever weighed in his career.THis is silly argument brought by a silly man not worth continuing with it.It's all been said before!

    That's right. All groups are the same. I forgot. I will repeat that over and over... And ignore that Pacific Islanders are 28x more likely to be pro football players than any other ethnicity....
