https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjDfOoAxI_4 Don't let his gentleman like demeanor fool you. Rocky Marciano was an intimidating monster. An unstoppable force that threw bomb after bomb. Hit him with everything you got, but he will still chase you down. When you're in the ring with Rocky, you are fighting for your life. He knocked out four legends, giving them the worst beatings of their career. He retired undefeated as the heavyweight champion of the world. The only person in history to ever do so.
Nice. Rocky is a marvel on the heavy bag. His combinations are bomb after bomb almost like throwing rocks. Full force and never losing steam, to me Marciano is arguably the best conditioned boxer ever.
His conditioning was remarkable. After 15 rounds of throwing bombs at Charles he was still in good shape. Koois, the name of the song is Vengeance by Zack Hemsey
Very nice vid, the Walcott-Marciano interview to action part was really well done How long does it usually take you to make a highlight? start to finish
Thanks Tippy! Glad you enjoyed it. I put a lot of work into this one. I would say around 40-50 hours. A lot of time is spent on researching and getting the best footage. I wish this paid the bills. I would do more of it!
Rocky is truly one of a kind. No one is taught to throw full force wailing punches as their standard go to combinations. That is suicide to be countered and to gas out for sure. However, Rocky's combinations don't look refined and appear to have slight openings between each punch. But whats defintely obvious is how hard they are thrown, with Marciano its fastball after fastball. Good luck standing in front of that ball of muscle as he unloads each slavo , even if you get hit in the shoulder you feel it and instinctly back away. Round 6 of the Moore fight is a great example Rocky is doing well and gets a first KD, at that time he has a awesome workrate. Yet seemlessly he goes to defcon 4 for the last minute and a half, I lost count after 60 odd punches. The announcer says "Rocky will be tired from that" -nope he continues that rapid pace and then crushes Moore with another 20 punch combination 2 rounds later.
Magnificent!!! Excelent work. Very clear footage from the Savold fight and excellent choice of footage. Built up the tempo from the clips for a finale too. Well done.
