You mean get rid of the music completely?

The problem with old fight footage is the audio is usually pretty poor. You can barely hear the crowd, and the announcer usually sounds something like "Watch in the next clinch as Louis lands a big right folks!"

Because of that I have to rely more on interview sound bites, and music.

It would be cool if Max Kellerman would commentate on past fights to make it more exciting.

I would get rid of the music completely- but that's just me. The action says it all.

I don't know how hard it would be, but I would also add brief captions to indicate who is fighting.

Having said that- you do great work. I enjoyed it.

This is no new revelation...but through modern day revisionism, we seem to have forgotten that Marciano was indeed a savage....that he broke bones, blood vessels, put a guy in a coma, knocked out teeth,...generally seemed to enjoy dishing out pain, blood, bruises, and taking all the punishment coming his way in return,....all in the interest of overcoming size and reach deficits, all those imposing, more talented opponents,...basically refusing to yield to pain, discouragement, pre-fight bad-mouthing....instead, letting his fists do the talking...forgetting about family, friends, creature comforts....dedicating himself to punishing his body...getting in perfect shape and condition,,..setting only one thing first ,....to win...to win...to win........Yes, to achieve his primal objectives, he had to transform himself into a savage....and in every fight,...he WAS a savage.

^ Excellent post Cobra. That is exactly what I was going for in this video. When most people think of Rocky, they think of words like champion, determination, endurance, class, etc.

But when you watch him in the ring, he was viscous, brutal, an animal!

I've seen most if not all of your boxing related videos and I actually enjoy the choice of music. Very artistic the combination of select portions of bouts and music. Keep up the fantastic work. I think everyone would like to see more especially concerning past fighters who less educated posters trash. How about one concerning Jack Johnson or Jeffries? Films I know are not the best but some of the snippets I have seen of Jeffries in training and his bout with Ruhlin when slowed down are impressive. Perhaps you can zero in on specific defensive and offensive moves that are lost unless watched at more regular speed.

    I appreciate it Perry.

I want to do at least one video on every boxing legend of the past. It's a long list, but I do have great footage on a lot of them. I will eventually do a Jeffries video.

I do have a JJ career highlight. It's old, but good.
