This a morsel more fit for Marciano's appetite and abilities. A compelling fight to be sure. A real barnburner, I think. Could Marciano overcome Kirkman's greater talent and more solid boxing skill? Would the lil' shoemaker from Brockton score the best head to head victory of his life? I think it is a definite possibility!

Kirkman by KO(though it might take a bit).

Kirkman would clear win but that reality is going to make many mad.

I assume Kirkmans one of the 400 you'd have beating Jersey Joe?

He was not recovered from a motorcycle accident and had a sinus infection.

Kirkman got 4 KDs in the bout. Jones got lucky. "**** happens". The downside of fighting bad opponents is when they get lucky a fighter looks terrible.

Also this was not the only time Jones showed elite power. He scored a 10-7 on Quarry. Jones still lost but he could throw them hands.

He would have been 25-0 had he fought Marciano's first 25 opponents.

Now you’re in more Marciano’s league. You know what I got Marciano by decision in a tough brawl.

In the words of the great Apollo Creed when talking to the 44-21 Rocky Balboa.

"You got lucky, so lucky, what you did was a miracle, you're the luckiest man on the face of the earth"

Jones was the "luckiest man on the face of the earth".

Theres a woman out there who survived a fall from an airplane at 33,000 feet. No parachute. It is almost impossible to survive a fall like that. But it is possible. Crazy things happen in life on the fringes of reality.
