Rocky Marciano v.s Jimmy Young

I think Marciano wins this by KO hands down. Prime Young or no. He might make it awkward but Marciano is in a different league.

 

We've all being giving Jimmy Young a lot of coverage lately. Have n't we ? and why not,he was a damn good fighter. I can see him frustrating Marciano with a lot of movement,and lasting the course. If Jimmy had a bit more of a punch,then I could see him winning this,but as it was,Marciano would take it by clear,albeit hard fought decision.

 

I'd say that in a competitive match that marciano wears down young and and wins a decision. It would probably play out like the 1st marciano-charles fight.

 

Marciano wins in every duration. Marciano KO 8.

 

I very confidently stated that the Frazier of Manilla would stop Young late and I have no real reason to predict anything better for Young against a prime Marciano. But on the other hand it feels reasonable that Young could duplicate what a post-prime Charles did and last the distance...

I like Young in a lot of fantasy matchups but Rocky is a bad matchup for him.

 

Marciano KO late, he may rack up some early rounds though

 

He Grant never gets to complain again about their being too many Marciano threads if he is going to contribute to them.

Young quits after being repeatedly pulled back through the ropes by the referee. a painful night for Young ,and an even more painful one for the audience.
Rocky apologizes to his fans," the guy just didnt want to fight".
Afterwards ,Young announces he will confine himself to Tag Team Wrestling in future.

 

Lol Young could beat Foreman, Norton and Ali but he couldnt beat a 180 pound bum like Marciano. I bet you that every person who said Marciano would win is white. Young easily beats Marciano
