I'll pick Rocky to outwork the crude and slow Sam Peter, who even on his best day was essentially a fringe contender who overachieved due to convenient circumstances.

Very rarely is his career properly evaluated.

I think the Nigerian nightmare batters the rock to a stoppage in the last 45 seconds of round #8.

 

Peter can't last in a fight with someone like Rocky.

The skill levels are completely different.

 

Peter gives him the Williams treatment.

Yes it was, that why anyone semi-decent reduced him to huffing inefficiency if they hung around with him for more than 6 rounds, and 90% of his wins came within 6 rounds.

Might that enhance the Klitschko's victory over Peter?

I'd favor Marciano, but not by a huge margin.

That said, let's not forget that Peter had some major (if crude) power himself. His limited boxing skills would be aided considerably in that he would not have to go looking for Marciano. I'd say that Peter has a puncher's chance in this one.
