Peter's knockout of Williams was also pretty good. Williams must have been top 20 and was on a hot streak.

Going into the Peter fight, these were his previous fights:
1. Beat Atilia Levin. Levin was 29-1 and had Tko'd Ray Austin.
2. Beat Andre Purlette. Purlette was 35-1 with wins over past prime versions of Grimsley and Jimmy Thunder
3. Draw with Al Cole. Williams didn't train for that.
4/5/6 beat two journeymen and David Bostice, who was okay.

 

Why not post the correct measurement from the start instead of saying Marciano was 5' 9" and exaggerating the height and reach differential to bolster your point ,it's not only pathetic it's patently dishonest, though infinitely predictable.lol

 

As limited as Peter was, he's Floyd Mayweather compared to Galento. If Galento was able to drop Louis, Peter would KO him.

 

Many boxing pundits claim he was closer to 5'9 ,i also said NEARLY 10 inches of reach, i understand you are and have limited perspective on boxing so the need to bicker over crumbs and even spell check just to post something is and what you look for bc when faced with any rational topic you are often proved wrong so its all good ,really proves my point about you being a poor little desperate fellow . lol

Well i tend to agree ,i wont go there though and just keep dumbing my posts down a bit knowing what section im in with certain posters who will cry about it if they have no come back I at least give fans of past time fighters a reasonable chance at times of a counter argument but anyone seriously thinks Galento is a great even good fighter must think highly of Jackie Gleason. lol

 

Ive read many interviews over the years ,ive already gave CREDIBLE links on here with othrr topics ,im certainly not going to go scouring over an inch,its pretty clear on video itself he looks to be possibly shorter than 5'10 . I wont lose sleep over it either way.

 

Care to reference a single one of these interviews that might contradict the many references of him being 5 10-5-11?
