So it's Rocky v Willie and the fight is three minutes long. The rules say that if Willie survives the three minutes, he wins $1m. If Rocky knocks Willie out, he wins $1m.

Both are in their absolute primes and in perfect fighting condition.

Referee is a moderate 1950s referee.

    Ring is 18x18.

    Who you got?

pep, rings big enough, rocky aint gonna catch him in 1 round, especially since he doesn't have to win the round.

Rocky most definitely, he would come out foaming at the mouth !

Pep was a spender but Marciano worshipped the green stuff $$$$ he would have kod his Mother for a million bucks!

You're dangling some money here in front of Rocky with these rules McGrain....I think you'd see a different animal altogether than your standard Rocky Marciano.
He be out of that corner like a big Roberto Duran vs Ken Buchanan....but with more ominous results for poor Willie.

I think Pep is too small here and too short. You'd need a welterweight or middleweight with some height.

Weirdness. Can Marciano grab and knock out Pep in three minutes? Can Pep feint with his feet and divert a sprinting Marciano to the wrong corner?

I wouldn't bet a dime, but surviving is easier than knocking someone out, and Pep is great with his feet.

Surely Rocky would just have to aim for the hips and it's game over...?

The results would be even more a foregone conclusion if Willie actually owed Rocky money, as was the case some times.

I think Pep could probably run around the ring and spoil for three minutes.

No three knockdown rule gives him some obvious options.

    Pep.

He has the added incentive. For him, it's not about the million dollars. See what I mean?

Interesting......would love to have seen this......1 round? I reckon Pep could keep out Marcianos path for 3 mins.

Can't be serious, marciano would have him out with a cuffed punch. I doubt the finest footwork avoids marciano running at you at full speed looking to take your head off. Maybe thomas hearns or something is a decent idea, but not a small punching featherweight.
