I'm going to get stick for this but Wilder has a shout here excellent power, very good jab .
It's no secret Rocky would have to get inside to inflict damage , could he do it enough and without sustaining serious damage in the process? Could he take that long right hand of Wilder's as he tried to get in range?
Would his suspect facial tissue withstand that octopus jab?
Could Wilder absorb Marciano's power shots ,suck it up and come through,or would he fall by the wayside ,a broken man?
    .

Oh and its over 12 ROUNDS.

    Start firing your bullets!

Wilder is still unknown against the top guys, plus his chin looks like it could be a little suspect.

However, that height, speed and reach would have to give Rocky difficulty imo.

So I think I would take Wilder over the great Rocky :bbb

Size does matter, but only if the bigger guy can fight at all.

    Rocky stops him.

    Maybe so.
I'd pick Stiverne,Molina and Duhaupas to beat ****ell, though and probably Lastarza too.

Agreed. Marciano by savage KO. He puts on some muscle/mass if need be.

    What about you mcvey?

Wilder has thus far faced very limited opposition so its possible Rocky could walk through him, that said I cant help thinking it would be a difficult fight for Rocky.

I agree Wilder is still untested at top level and Molina staggered him badly twice.Wilder has a fast hard jab and an 83" reach, could he connect enough times to get Rocky bleeding? Could Rocky sand bag that skinny waist ,slowing Wilder down and making him a more static target.
Wilder is a long puncher he doesn't do much at close range, could Rocky get under that Albatross wingspan and,"kill the body"? Ill pick Marciano 60/40.

I believe I said he is untested at top level?
If you don't care to make a pick, fine.

The Rock knocks this fraud out cold, early. There is a difference between fighting top HWs and the stiffs Wilder has faced throughout his bogus career.

I'd go with Rocky. Off of what I see Wilder's size and jab present some problems, but going into their fights with Marciano, Charles and Moore assumed (correctly so) that Marciano would be too crude. But the thing was, even against men as experienced as they were, Rocky's weaving attack style apparently presents a big challenge when trying to pick it up defensively, he throws a shot, misses by 4 feet, the punch carries him under fire as he weaves, then he comes up with a shot that lands on the button, with his volume it's like a wave...My guess is if Rocky was able to get to Moore and Charles, he would readily reach Wilder in spite of being the shorter man. Now give your take on the Liston/Dempsey thread ya bum...:good

Somewhere Rocky Marciano is turning in his grave!

Picking Wladamir Klitschko over Rocky Marciano, is based on a belief that size is crucial, and it is understandable.

Picking Deontay Wilder over Rocky Marciano, is tantamount to saying that size is everything, and that any big fighter who can navigate a ranking would beat him.

You would have to wonder why somebody didn’t do it at the time!
