For those who consider Holyfield used dirty tactics in the squared circle, he sure would meet his match with Marciano.

Qawi would have a field day with Marciano. Tougher, punched harder, better beard.

An ancient Ezz with the wheels falling off was equivalent to a prime and virile Holy?

What are you smoking and I can I try some?

Qawi was a better boxer, more active, hit harder and had a better chin.

    Qawi KO8.

Qawi wasn’t more active. Didn’t hit half as hard and never not once knocked out any kind of Hw. His best KO was of LHWs and even there he wasn’t some KO artist. Marciano by KO

Ric Lainhart was the modern equivalent of a Marciano.

Marciano's power is so fantastically exaggerated it's comical. He was a strong, relentless guy who could beat up old men and white dopes. He really was the best at that.

    Matthew Saad Muhammad KO10 Marciano.

I think a better thread might be Money May versus Marciano. I see the Rock having a chance to catch him there. If he gets lucky.

You recon Marciano can survive Joe Goddard?

That would be a good brawl. But Goddard was old when he started swapping hands for money, so he would be in Marciano's wheelhouse.

Qawi vs Ocasio is widely considered a robbery it was a horrible decision that Qawi won handily. Ocasio is also an ultra defensive spoiler I don't see that he has much relevance to Marciano TBH.

Qawi IMO is more skilled than Marciano, better defence, and a very good counter puncher for such a aggressive fighter.

But saying all that I don't think Qawi is a better H2H fighter than Marciano at Cruiserweight though Qawi's best weight was clearly Light Heavyweight.

There are levels to the sport…Qawi is not on the level. Good fighter his defense was a little slicker then Marciano they actually had many things in common there, but his power wasn’t close.

There was no wheels falling off.

Just 32, Ezzard was Ring Magazine fighter of the month for clocking up two sensational wins ahead of his showdown with Rocky.

When Evander challenged Tyson he was 34 years old, coming off a kayo loss with Bowe, and had only fought 4 times over the last 3 years. And that’s the fight that made Holyfield!

was Holyfield better against Qawi as a cruiser then he was against Tyson?

Ezz went .500 for the rest of his career.

Per the topic we're not talking Heavy Holy, we're talking Cruiser Holy. The Cruiser Holy had his best bouts before him. The last time he made that weight he was 25.

    Don't be dense.
