I’m not sure what kind of point you’re going for.

What impressed me more than his power, was Ruiz's hand speed. Reminded me of Sanders-Wlad.

He's a little taller than Maricano and a lot fatter, that's about it. He isn't quick or athletic, his stamina isn't impressive as he fights in spurts, and I don't care if you were in the ring with him that doesn't change my observations.

The only thing I agree with you is that he's better than David Tua. Not because he's a superior athlete but because he has better timing and uses his durability to lure his opponents into exchanges and land his own power shots. Tua would have went into his shell after those big right hands and let Joshua coast.

Of course you wouldn’t care. You aren’t interested in reality. He’s in a different gear than a lot of boxers I’ve seen. He’s very fast.

Was Rocky Marciano at the fight too for you to make the comparison?

Ruiz wasn't even the fastest man in the ring on Saturday night and I don't rate Joshua's speed that highly either. And if you can't see that, I'm sorry, you just don't know what you are looking at.

One guy covered up when he got hit, the other guy threw back. It's not rocket science what happened nor is Ruiz some physical marvel.

My thoughts exactly. Idk how one can say he has great stamina think the most punches he threw was 48 or something in round 3 (great round). The next round he threw 20. Otherwise was anywhere between 20-30 a round the whole fight. Not exactly work horse numbers. I like the kids style but if he doesn’t learn to move up and down more with his legs he’s gonna get sparked by the likes of Wilder. I’ll say he fought a smart fight and used his energy wisely though. Think Ruiz is better then he’s getting credit for and he will have a chance to prove it

Ruiz is all wrong for Marciano. Rocky would match up better with Joshua.

Fast combos from a 260lbs man will make 1 round fell like 10 rounds for 187lbs Rocky.

The weight of those punches as well as the speed will knock Rocky over easily . Ruiz has a boxing brain as well and would lure Rocky onto a deadly overhand rights.
Rock could never wear down Ruiz , its only logical that he would wear out first.

Ruiz has excellent steps. He just walked down a giant with balance, precision and relentlessness.

And yes, there were moments, when necessary, where he was very light on his feet.

Rocky would need to use lateral movement and fight cutely to have a chance against Ruiz.

You’re dead wrong. Ruiz probably has the fastest hands ever for a guy over 260. Compact punches reach the target a lot quicker than long punches. Ruiz is as compact as it gets for a superheavy.

No, but Callum Smith was. I think we can assume Rocky was a little smaller than Callum.

Ruiz is not a super heavy!

He is an obese 6' 1'' man.

The only dimension in which he is remotely remarkable, is in that such a poorly conditioned man won the title!
