Ali said that not me, you know better than him?

And just look what Hagler, Foreman and Louis said about him too.

Qawi hit 40% of Marciano punches, never knocked out anybody good in LHW division let alone HWs.
Also I don't remember Qawi KOing someone after 13 rounds.

That fighter was still GOAT LHW and was not washed.

    Hi Guys.
Just came back from a short break ( Cyprus since you ask ) and as I always do, took a boxing book for the downtime, I chose a book titled " Unbeaten " that cronicalled the rise of Marciano, have read a few about Rocky over the decades, but stuck with my choice, in the event it was a good read, from his humble upbringing to the world title, the fights, the build ups, background figures, etc, so yea a good read, what struck me, or stood out, was either Weil or Goldman commenting that Rocky didn't look so good in certain fights, because of his long lay of , this was mentioned a few times, the length of time they were talking about was 2/3 months !!!! over the last ten years or so HWs frequently have 3 months " camp " then do not fight again for the same duration, or longer, Frank Warren after his fighter a HW had just fought " we look to get him out again on or around July , we would like to keep him busy " it was November ? Hearn has said similar, seems the big guys of today do not like to fight more than twice a year, or thereabouts, is it money, not wanting to risk defeat, politics, are the purses so big, they don't need to fight more often, there you go, just musing.
    stay safe guys, chat soon.
    Mike.

He coped alright with Bowe,Lewis,Mercer, and Tyson hitting him,I think he could take Rocky's shots.
Marciano won a lot of fights with his conditioning, against Holyfield he would find himself matched in that department.

For me, any version of Holyfield beats Marciano. He's everything the Rock is and everything the Rock has turned up a couple of notches.
