Nah. Nobody beats the almighty Chuck Wepner.. nobody. Just look at how fast Sonny Liston retired after getting a taste of the Bayonne Bleeder. And after a young film writer saw what Wepner did to Muhammad Ali he went strait home and launched one of the greatest movie making careers of all time. Wepner definitely put Bayonne NJ on the map as a boxing Mecca and is responsible for making the sport as widely known as it is through his life story on film.. I rank wepner p4p higher than Robinson, Armstrong, pep, Moore or any of those guys…
