Rocky Marciano vs Don Cockell

Not sure Rocky "Struggle" with Cockell. Don won 1 mere round on all 3 of the judges scorecards, Marciano pretty much shut him out.

Marciano struggle putting him away, I give em that, but as far as winning the fight??? He had a cake walk in that regard.

 

It's arguably his worst title fight performance wise. Marciano says his worst fight was after the first Charles fight (Not sure if this was at that point in the career or overall). Marciano trained hard but didn't really think much of Cockell. In fact, Marciano thought he was a bum and really felt no threat from him. Cockell showed gameness and a will to stay in there... he really took some bombs. You have to respect that.
