Perhaps this was Lou Duva and not Don Turner. Just speculating since Duva was Rocks friend and co trained Holy with Benton.

I happen to think that he was one of a kind when it came to raw punching power. I cant say exactly how hard he'd hit in relation to hard hitting super heavies, but I do think Marciano could match modern day heavies in punching power.

Remember, Ali was said to be faster than a lot of fast welter and middles in his prime. How is it possible for a 210 pound man to have faster hand and foot speed than a fast 147 pounder? Every once in a while, some freak of nature comes along and breaks all of the rules. Marciano may have been unique in that regard as Ali was unique in being a big man that was faster than fast smaller men.

David Imoesiri says that Golovkin hit him harder than Povetkin, and had heavyweights leaving his camp after sparring for a day.

Add at least 20lb of pure frame, increase the power even more, and what do you get?

He was a trainer for world champions.
A highly respected position, one which you must be highly qualified to be in.

The fact that you think some statement about cuts detracts all of that is asinine. His place in the sport speaks volumes louder than that.

Of course we know more than Lomachenkos camp, because we discovered the super secret quote about cuts. Maybe you should reach out to them, show them the quote, and inform them that they have an underqualified crazy man in their corner, if that's what you really believe.

if GGG was breaking up heavies like they say, then his opponents would be wrecked in 3 rounds..I think GGG is an atg at 160, but I can see when shits getting exaggerated. You get a punch bag with ggg and povetkin on it, and i'd bet my life Povetkin is the heavier puncher...Quite easily.GGG has awesome punching technique, far better and heavier p4p, but he aint punching heavier than a 235 povetkin once he sits down on his shots

    Says who?
Louis wrecked SHW Baer in one round, but went the distance with guys who weighed 60lb less. Such is the nature of boxing.

Plus punching harder than a HW doesn't exactly guarantee success in the division.

I honestly think with that wreckless bet you'd be seriously risking your life.

There was zero indication that this is what you meant based on your last post, and it's completely unreasonable to assume I can read your mind to know what you're thinking even though you didn't communicate it, but okay.

    In the gym I've seen a 175lber hit harder than a 250lber.

This law of physics you vaugely site seems purely theoretical based on incomplete formulaic thinking. In real life, some guys just know how to punch with a lot of power.

Were talking a solid hard hitting 235 HW versus probably the hardest hitting MW in history. And there is a sparring partner above who sparred with both, and gives the nod to Golovkin. It is what it is.

Golovkin is no where near the hardest puncher at 160 u crazy man...Loads punched harder, not better, but harder...Sparring stories are never to be believed. You have never seen 2 fighters at world level punching that weigh 175 and 235 in your gym, your comparison is silly and probably untrue anyway

    Sure thing.

I forgot that 235lb men are invulnerable to physical harm done by by fully grown 160lb male adults. I forgot that we're talking about titans, superheroes and giants. I thought we were talking about human beings, my bad.
