Ali developed respect for the past champions as he matured. Especially after certain run ins with past champs, like the Rocky computer fight.

I thought you knew a lot about Ali? I'm surprised you don't know this, and are playing the "He said everything" card. In addition to this, it's take some self effort to weigh things according to the context. Nobody is going to do that for you.

And any true fan of Ali's who watched all his clips and interviews knows that he developed genuine respect and admiration for guys like Rocky.
