    Hope classic enjoys. I don't like to plug my stuff, but the first fight is sort of more rare than some of the older fights. It's just an edit of the 5 filmed rounds. The quality is about as good as you could possibly ever get. Great, really awesome fight with non-stop punching barrages by Marciano. I don't know why there's crackling for the first minute and 20 seconds in the audio, but fortunately it goes away.

    Anyway, good highlight, and GREAT quality. I have no idea where you get the quality for your vids. Awesome.
    Nice job Pete.

    **** the amount of punches at the end of a hard fight the rock throws in the 15th is staggering, **** any one who says he was a poor fighter, the guy was one of the bravest, fittest and hardest working fighters ever period

    Thank you for saying this. Because that's how I feel, and so strongly. I get chills seeing how just throw so many punches in the 15th round. I can't understand it really. Just amazing.

    PeteThePrince you have redeemed yourself my man - this is great work putting this together!! My all time favourite heavyweight fight ever - Ezzard Charles was awesome in this fight - an amazing fighter - a brilliant pound for pound puncher fast deadly hitter, great counter puncher, amazing inside fighter, masterful defensive fighter, incredible chin and stamina, beautiful technique - how anyone claims he was a veteran in this fight is a complete and total joke this was one of the best ever heavyweight title fights and one of the best ever performances in a losing challenge at the title - Charles is without doubt one of the best fighters period in the heavyweight division.

    Sketchy :lol::lol::lol:
    But seriously, how can you even manage that, this was filmed in the 1950s, it's just crazy!

    One of the best highlight videos I have ever seen. Well done Pete. You did a great service to ESB and to Marciano/Charles.

    Btw Pete,

    I get that same goosebump feeling when I watch round 6 of Marciano-Moore.

    Good job. I'm grateful for people sharing stuff like this on youtube. Thanks. Which makes what I'm about to say harder. I don't mean to nitpick, but why is it stretched? It has a widescreen aspect ratio, but the original source surely isn't. Is there something wrong with the way I'm viewing it? Or did you intentionally stretch it to be widescreen? I'm of the opinion that the original aspect ratio is better because it isn't distorted. Just some constructive criticism. Okay, I'm done.

    Did you watch it on the player from the site, or on youtube?

    When you watch widescreens embedded on sites it gives it an extra widescreen look. If you watched it on youtube, I did convert it to a widescreen. Initially, the footage was sort of a mixed in between. I don't really see the stretchiness when watching it on youtube, personally.

    Thanks a lot Suzie. I knew you'd enjoy.

    Glad I could redeem myself Rocky. :lol:

    Charles was just great in this fight. Crafty and technical enough, and he used all his experience to nullify Marciano for a great period. He really rendered his left hook pretty useless throughout, and he catches Marciano with a lot of good rights in the 4th round. One of the punches is very similar to the when Moore lands to drop Marciano. Charles knew this was his last chance... and he put it all on the line. Some writers at the time claimed it was his finest hour. Most of all his courageous, and took a stand.

    Oh yeah, that's another moment. The Moore fight is another high-output Marciano fight. Rocky shows great defense in what seem to be wild exchanges. That always jumps out at me. Moore was so great, but just utterly helpless. As Foreman said "Moore had all the skills in the world but couldn't resist the power of the Heavyweight, Marciano."

    It looks stretched when it's embedded, and it looks stretched on youtube. Kinda makes everyone look shorter and wider. Like Sicilian peasants. Great quality footage though.

    Yes, the "Mob" has an extensive collection of Italian-American fighters. They steal the rest of what they don't have. You know it has its advantages for me, and this is one of them.
