    It's amazing watching clips of Marciano now. Him and Joe Louis are two fighters who always look GREAT on tape.

    Some would beg to differ with the looking great on tape (Not about Louis). I'm of course not one of them. Marciano has his critics, but he doesn't get the credit he deserves of making an art out of swarming. Glad you enjoyed.

    When someone wanted to tie Marciano up he kept punching, to the body or anywhere else he could, today most boxers just quit fighting while tied up.

    the amazing thing about Marciano is watching the people he KO's they just crumble to the mat in a heap of mess. There are not too many fighters in any weight class that can do that to people. The just go down and can't get back up.

    :lol: That's a good way to describe Marciano KO's. His opponents were really "clubbed" into submission. They usually went down because they just did not want to take it anymore.

    Marciano refused to lose. He was a true champion of the sport, top 15 ATG imo.
