    Patterson took a few flush shots from Johannson in their second fights without going down, just watched it yesterday on youtube but I can see your points on the whole durability thing. I just don´t really fully agree with you but that maybe because I´m a fan of Floyd.
    Walcott was a very special fighter and if he would have lived under better circumstances I think we would now talk not about Ali or Louis beeing the greatest but about Walcott. Patterson on the other hand would have a better career if he would have fought a little longer at lhw.

    Yeah, Marciano did this to fighters, there are few fighters who had that kind of power, Chavez is another one and strangly Hopkins ended or derailed quite a few careers - Mercado, Lipsey, Johnson for a while, Trinidad.

    I see no way Patterson could win. His only chance would be a cuts stoppage. His Chin would not be able to hold up. Not many fighters could against Marciano no shame in that.
