It wouldnt be all that competitive imo. Foreman would blast him out of there.

Marciano was a LHW in today's world. Prime Joe Louis, who would be a small HW today, would beat Marciano. Prime Foreman would brutalize them both.

Saying Rocky couldn't wear Foreman down is ludicrous. He has best stamina and engine in Heavyweight championship history. If Foreman didn't get him out early,Ktfo for Rock between 10-15th round

At first i thought easy win for foreman....but then i thought about him fighting dwight muhammad qawi ( who was way smaller then Marciano ) which wasn,t an easy win for Foreman...Rocky was way better and stronger then dwight muhammad qawi

In the words of cus d'amato, "It's suicide against Foreman if you're short and fight a swarming attacking style like Marciano or Frazier,"

Rock vs Frazier has potential to be competitive, not so much Foreman.

He never fought anyone even close to Foreman, or Ali for that matter. Marciano might beat someone like Lyle or Shavers, they were shorter and not known for having cast iron jaws. But someone like Foreman or Lennox Lewis would be to much for him. The thunderous uppercuts those two throw would back him up all day long. Like I said, he'd probably never quit and would keep coming, but he just couldn't stay upright against that kind of firepower. No matter how tough you are, 185 pounds is just not going to hold against that kind of force.

That was a much older Foreman. I think they are discussing someone like 1973 George Foreman. Qawi would have likely been gone much faster against young Foreman. Besides, he did not come straight ahead like Marciano would have.

saw an interview with Ali after he retired. He said Marciano hit harder than anyone he had ever fought. remember the rounds they did when Marciano was in his forties? In a conversation with Angelo Dundee he agreed that Marciano would win against Ali. Both versions of Foreman, early and late, hit guys that did not ko. Marciano was no light hitter himself. Marciano by ko.

Dundee also said no swarmer would ever beat Big George, so if you want to go by that you got to take into account everything he said.

And Ali said Marciano hit hard, but not harder than anyone he'd ever fought. Many people who said he would beat Ali did so early in his career. People didn't know until the 70's what a great chin Ali had. Marciano beats neither of them. Ali would take a decison over him and Foreman would get him by to many knockdowns.
