Sasha Grey:good As a general rule you'd think as the level of beauty rises, the less stuff a woman would do. This girl is a primal *****.
The nayayers of Jack Dempsey disregard the opinions of the large majority of boxing minds who saw Jack Dempsey AND Rocky Marciano in their primes. Of all the major boxing champions to pit against the PRE Tunney Manassa Mauler,Rocky Marciano [whom I saw and loved] would be the perfect cannon fodder for the young panther-like Dempsey. Dempsey hit so much faster and more ACCURATELY than Rocky, was just as tough minded also, and loved to be in the trenches. I go along with the great boxing experts polled during Marciano's reign, who knew whereof they spoke and chose Jack Dempsey at his best to beat the Brockton Blockbuster....After all, they saw them BOTH.
very close call. Dempsey has the edge in speed but they can both fight like hell with no quit in them. There was nobody better for Marciano to fight other than who he fought, he ran out of competition. passed all the tests however undersized and awkward he was. defiant and iron willed rock always found a way to win. Dempsey was more of an athlete, a phenom of the level that he set a new standard. good inside, good outside, tough, mean and fast. Jack the giant killer was a bigger superstar than Marciano too. Dempsey set the bar that all later champs were measured against so he had to be special in his prime. However well matched on his way up, in his championship years Marciano still kept finding a way to win. he paid his dues and avoided nobody - its a more thorough championship dominance if you like against truly great fighters. perhaps rocky could have been ruined before he reached championship level had he not been guided so well but when he reached the title he possibly surpassed his potential. Both had the assets to beat the other, perhaps I lean to Marciano for always being able to deliver. I don’t see how anyone can say for sure.
Wow surprising coming for you  What happened to the Marciano beats anyone under 200lb opinion?
Beating up on big untalented punching bags isn't impressive. Marciano fought smaller guys but they were all much better fighters than the big oafs Dempsey fought, and were better punchers too. Marciano fought 3 men in the top 50 Greatest 100 punchers of all time list.
Marciano may have fought older opponents, but they were also better opponents. Dempsey's level of competition was good, just not in the same league IMO. Also Dempsey was faster, but Rocky hit harder, had a superior chin, and arguably better stamina. It would be a bloody and exiting fight, but Marciano would catch Jack with that right hand at some point, and end his night.
Sure, and i'll agree with that, but saying a certain guy wasn't on the same level durability wise as a heavyweight when he fought more actual heavyweights is just silly. Although i'll say a few like Fulton were much better than they get credit for.
Fulton is a good win. One of his better ones. I do think not having film of Fulton helps him, because he would probably look as terrible or nearly as terrible as Willard and Firpo do.
Rocky... and I really don't see it being that close. Rocky had the better chin and stamina and that would be the difference in this fight.
Marciano just cause I'm partial. Dempsey was incredible but I think Marciano would pull through once again. Needless to say, neither have had a fight anything like this brawl.
