A number of instant thoughts shot to the forefront of my mind concerning this match, and they all seem to point in the same direction...a Conclusion without Confusion one might say, First and foremost how can you pick against a man used to nothing but unremitting success when pitted against a man who more than once found a way to lose, ? A man with a great Camp and supremely dedicated to honing himself for battle against a Man with Family interference and distraction, A man not hindered but tactics and ruses and Stratagems, against a man who is talented enough to employ them..But would probably succumb to the old Irish Red Mist and fight the other mans Fight... Gloriously but Foolishly.. If Jerry went at Rocky like he did Joe Frazier in their first encounter.. Then it would be a Fabulous 4 rounds i think, at which point, Like with Joe, Jerry can not change Tactics to become a Counterpuncher.. He will be like a Bone who had fed himself to a Pittbull, in the possible belief that he can Choke him... And he might causes a few exciting Retches... But i fear Rocky would Simply adjust his Bite .. And the Chomping would continue... Jerry could outmanauvere Big Slow Lumberers Like Foster Lyle or Shavers. But Rocky is much too Compact for Jerry to work within the Arc of his Shots... If he fought like he did Early against Chuvalo and Later Lyle.. Mobile and Measured.. with a few Gorilla Raids thrown in.. then he will be competitive for awhile.. But i'm afraid once we get past the " Getting to know you .." Stage... Jerry Emotional red mist will descend. Probably followed not too long after..by the Red Mist of his Facial Lacerations... Brave and Spitting Crimson defiance to the End.. The Ref Pulls Rocky from his Battered Quarry Circa 9th for me..
