Marciano, stronger man with two fist power and excellent chin. Marciano had problem with movers and good boxers, but old style slugging is the game he loved so much and he was best at that.
Marciano 5'10,, 69 inch reach weighed 185,,,,Frazier 5'11, 73 inch reach weighed 210. In my opinion Marciano ,while a hard hitter, was a hard hitter for a man in the mid 180 pound range and doesn't possess the Foreman type power to blast Joe out. .Frazier , the bigger man outweighs him by 25 pounds ,was faster and pound for pound was as big a hitter. This will be a war of attrition and Rocky's face ain't holding up, Frazier by 11th round TKO in a bloody war.
Frazier is the bigger, stronger, and faster man, but it'd be a sweet ass fight. The Rock is gonna be smoked.
This would have been a terrific fight while it lasted.However I've gotta go with Smokin'Joe on this one.Frazier was one of the very men who match Marciano for stamina and overall conditioning.Plus Joe had what is probably the finest victory in heavyweight history when he defeated Ali in FOTC. I just can't see the Rock beating that prime version of Smokin' Joe.Like you I wish we had a time-machine to set this fight up !
