Rocky Marciano vs John Ruiz

Marciano would knock out Tua in rounds 11-13th!
Remmember Tua was knocked twice in his life and Marciano wasn't!
Felix Savon knocked him with only headbutt!
Hasim Rahman knocked his arse after Tua keep punching after bell!
Marciano was dirty fighter who use headbutts,shoulders,ellbows...
Marciano would headbutted him harder than Savon and punched him harder than Rahman!Marciano is much,much harder puncher than Rahman!
Tua was also knocked out by some bum later in his carrer!

Marciano is in completely untested ground fighting above cruserweight in the SHW steroid era.

I know romantics like to think otherwise but it's very unlikely a 185lb cruserweight goes undefeated in the SHW steroid era.

 

Whilst I agree that Marciano isn't going undefeated vs Lewis or Bowe, why isn't he vs Ruiz or Tua? Neither were elite or that big.

 

I agree, I just don't think that John Ruiz would be the man to do it!

Because Tua has faster hands, is more explosive and is a much bigger puncher in the steroid era. And stylistically Rocky would exchange with Tua. He might beat Ruiz, given James Toney did.

John Ruiz is underrated based on his boring style. He would be a different proposition to anything Rocky faced. Ruiz being 6'3, 78 inch reach and one of the best jabs in HW history. Ruiz workrate and constantly being on top of his opponent is also underrated.

He is much much more proven against men who could fight back.

 

Well the bottom line is that he was not the best or brightest of his own era.

You can't even predict what happens when two fighters from the same era fight, so how can you ever know?
