I bet that shot for shot hassim rahman had more power than Joe Louis. It is not a crazy thing. For example morrison was rated as harder puncher than Tyson by every single guy that fought both them and obviously Tyson was the better fighter/puncher overall but Morrison did hit harder.

I think the fact that your going back to an amateur knockdown Tua received off Savon, proves to me your in denial his chin was granite. I would say Rachman clearly had more power in his right hand than either, especially Marciano. Rocky ground you down with fitness/toughness and a good punch, he wasn't a ko artist, Baer had more in his right than Rocky, maybe a better delivery than Rachman, but in terms of weight/power I think HR maybe heavier again

 

Yes .I also know Valdes was the end of year number one contender for 1953 and 1954, no2 in 53 was Charles,no2 in 54 was Cokkell.
