Rocky Marciano vs. Lennox Lewis

I think he would have. Anyone who claims Marciano would have LOST weight and not gained it with modern techniques is nuts.

 

He should be banned for stupidity and/or trolling. I have never heard of someone saying Marciano was 5'7 and walked around at 165. LOL.

Marciano is great? At doing what? Fighting over the hill fighters or mob controlled fighters? Marciano is a hard puncher? Compared to who? Tye Fields can knock out bums but at least Tye Fields knocked out heavyweight bums.

Lewis, Bowe, Foreman, Frazier, Tua, Tyson, either Horrible Klitschko. Ibeabuchi, Rudduck, Lyle, you coul go on and on and on of the guys who would of knocked him out in 1 round.

Idiots would tell you if he was alive today he would just bulk up. So if bulking up and to 210 plus pounds is so easy why hasn't another 5'10 180 pound fighter with short arms and no skill moved up and had success at heavyweight?

Wait is Marciano different because white people need him to be? Marciano is one of the most overrated boxers in boxing history.

 

9-10 top contenders, 4 of them being Hall of Fame. You are spewing ****. Rated by most fighters, experts, and historians top 5-10 HW lists.

P.S. No one said he's still be at heavy today. I said he'd be 200-210. 200 is a CW today. And most CW's fight a tad over 200 in non-title fights.

 

The Only Champion Marciano can beat is Vitali and maybe Wlad.

That's the pecking order.

Lewis slaughters Marciano

 

He wasnt even that for championships fights 184 to 186....his bodyfat likely 13/1 per cent...so he wasnt even as cut as Lewis.


Lewis was more skilled, and has 60 pounds on him.


Who wins A. Ward or Ricky Hatton, only 30 pounds between them.

 

Marciano was far more skilled than Lewis. Most know nothing about him and think he was a limited slugger. He out boxed slick ring masters and ATG's who later admitted they were outworked and out thought by the Rock.

Lewis was a jab jab robot who struggled with washed up, drug addicted Tony Tucker 7 years after Tyson beat him in his prime and at his best.

Lewis beats Marciano only because of his size, nothing more.

 

People who bash Marciano usually know nothing about him. All they cite is that he beat old fighters. That's how you know they don't know a ****ing thing.

 

If this is a 15 round fight Marciano KO's Lewis and so does Jersey Joe Walcott and Joe Louis.
