Why would you rate Tyson and Foreman over Liston? Tyson in particular.

Anybody saying Marciano wins is following the wrong sport and i bet they've never boxed themselves.
Also it'll come as a surprise but there is no Santa.

I would pick several cruiserweights to beat Rocky.

A super-heavyweight like Lewis would kill him. Just because Rocky was the best heavyweight of his time doesn't mean he belongs in a ring with a man 60 damn pounds heavier than him. How many guys did Rocky fight that weighed more than 200 pounds, let alone 240? He doesn't even have a speed advantage to present Lewis any sort of trouble.

    Let's be realistic here.

Nothing in particular, other than speed. I think Tyson's speed, power and aggressiveness, particularly in the first 3-4 rounds, can cause a lot of fighters problems.

But contrary to what you may think I have a pretty high opinion of Liston and I don't mind adding him to the list.

Essentially I think that if there were a H2H tournament in a best of three series with the following fighters, Ali, Holmes, Foreman, Lewis, Tyson, and Liston, it would very hard to pick a winner. I'm sure most would pick Ali.

Did you see the Marciano-Walcott knock out? That was brutal. Marciano's power is very underrated. He had 43 knock outs out of 49 wins. If I'm not mistaken, that's an 87.76 knockout percentage! That's the highest heavyweight knock out percentage in history!

I do agree with the above. I think Ali would beat any heavyweight. Especially in a series of three.

I bought that fight in the 60's. Walcott was 37 years old and under 200lbs, and he floored Marciano in the first round:think

How many Super heavyweights did Marciano ko? How many did he even fight? Lewis stopped 24 men who scaled over 220lbs. Marciano only fought 7 , 200lbs or over.

All of this is irrelevant. Nobody is talking about chin. And I'm not talking about the actual fight, I'm talking about the punch in general. It's funny because you even mentioned Walcott flooring Marciano in the first round. But you won't however, say when Marciano knocked Walcott out in the rematch. Don't worry. I'll save you the trouble. He knocked him out at 2:25 of the first round.

Absurd matchup. Marciano gave up sixty pounds to prime Lennox. He'd be a cruiserweight today.

Humphrey Jackson outweighed Marciano by 71 pounds. But that didn't help him did it? :nono

If it is irrelevant why did YOU bring it up?
Why won't I say Marciano ko'd Walcott in one round?:huh

Here is my post from page two of this very thread!

"I think Walcott dumped the second Marciano fight. "

Do you actually read the replies on here?:huh

Humphrey Jackson 4-2-0 who had a career resume of 4-3-0.
You want to equate him with Lennox Lewis?
Is this really the best argument you can muster? :patsch

I'm sorry. I did not see that. I'm talking About you mentioning Walcott dropping Marciano. That has nothing to do with punching power.
