    Lewis is only labeled as being " glass chinned" by either the lazy or unknowledgeable who ignore that he fought the largest number of big punchers in history and beat nearly all of them.

    Mercer, Holyfield X 2, Briggs and Vitali all hit Lewis cleanly for numerous rounds and he not only won all 5 fights, he stopped 2 of the fighters.

    Nobody is saying Vitali didn't have heart. I'm saying Lewis didn't have nearly as much heart as Marciano.

    "The fact is Marciano was a better puncher with either hand than either McCall or Rahman, who both knocked Lewis dead. Denying this is plain and simple short sighted, and more of just focusing and being influenced by the size of today's heavyweights."

    Notice the quotation marks, so I don't get accused of copying someone's statement and claiming it as my own.

    Look at the fight advantages, notice Lewis never has the advantage over anyone in chin. These are boxing experts.

    Sure.. Nat Fleischer was an "expert" too.. And if he were alive today he'd likely have picked Jack Dempsey to beat all of them... I wouldn't... Lewis's chin has been tested by more men with proven power than any man in history.. Marciano hasn't.

    no its not, you are just confused what "widely" means as well you are confused to the degree of what it means to have a "glass chin"

    glass chin boxers don't win championship fights against the top fighters of the day.

    however, you like to argue from within the matrix of your own fantasy land so please go on assuming that Lewis's chin was sheer glass for your own amusement :good

    No offense man but it wasn't my fault you either slept through the 90's or spent them in diapers... The men I listed earlier were part of a long list of proven punchers who Lewis beat and they didn't even account for all of them

    hey I am not trying to gang up on you but I agree with what maggo, its only the confused that label Lewis as a glass chin.

    that's not to say he had a IRON CHIN, however, a glass chin fighter is a fighter that gets hit with a good shot and is in trouble all the time, the vast majority of all the good shots lewis was hit with he was not in trouble. Only two of the many dozens of clean hard shots he was hit with put him out. That's not a glass chin, unless you just want to be a goof for fun and as I said, in that case power to you :good
