Marciano would weather the storm like Holyfield did, and then come on strong later to stop Tyson.

 

Show me one round of Marciano's fights that points to his ability to 'weather the storm'. Show me ONE round. Just ONE.

 

Tyson stops both Marciano and Bobby Layne in one evening back to back, then goes and eats some children and hearts for dessert.

Tyson outweighing an opponent by 30 lbs is attempted MURDER.

 

Tyson would be to strong and powerful, too fast, quick, and have too good of a defensive game, as well as a hell of a chin. You guys act as if slow ass Marciano would be able to KO him with one punch or something. Not happening. The young Tyson had great head movement, jab, and was a devastating combination puncher. Marciano's face would be shredded after a few rounds. Tyson would win by TKO if not KO. Light Heavyweight Archie Moore put Marciano on the canvas. Don't doubt Tyson would do it multiple times en route to a stoppage.

 

The topic was Prime Tyson and Marciano. A Prime Tyson would have beat Holyfield from pillar to post, regardless of all the head butting.

 

Tyson easily takes this one. Marciano is the better boxer overall, with the better career, but Tyson was just too big. He was like 30 pounds heavier, of pure muscle. Just as fast as well.

Horrible matchup for Marciano. Doesn't change the fact that Rocky is the more accomplished, and prized HW.

 

Tyson hits harder, uses both hands, has faster hands and feet, his chin is at least as good, he's bigger, he has better head movement... exactly what does Marciano bring to the ring to help him survive this horrible beating?

Tyson is no way hits harder than Marciano. Tyson had the worst chin in the division for a long time. Rock wins in a brutal KO.
