Rocky Marciano vs Mike Tyson

You, shithead, still havent answered my challange on how exactly Rocky Marciano is going to beat Mike Tyson. A guy who is better than him in every department and bigger than him as well.

 

yes he has a chance, based on surviving early rounds by luck and dirty tactics and a change in his usual strategy. The Marciano of old who charged head in bobbing and throwing wouldnt stand a real chance though. Its like any man surrendering 30-40 pounds in weight to an opponent isnt going to win by charging head in, he will instead need to stick and move or something similar.

30-40 pounds difference thats like the other guy hitting you with a small sack of coal everytime he punches you, no way you stand up to that by charging in.

 

Apparently you can if your Marciano

 

this is one of the greatest heavyweight h2h's ever. Marciano's chin and will might pull him through enough rounnds to get something working and his pressure and ability to take mikes punches could be too much. I can see a Marciano stoppage around rds 8-12 cause he's in a whole other world of mental toughness than mike.

 

tyson by easy win like i said before rocky wasn't a true hw he never weighed more then 193 i believe that was his highest weight he would be fighting a lh in mikes day or today . question is who is on rockys résumé that tryson couldn't beat? i think he beats all 49 of them on the other hand can you see rocky beating lewis,evander,holmes,even a ruddock or a spinks? i can't .
truth is rocky came in at the right time won the belt and retired at the right time had he fought liston he would have been 49-1 he would have beat patterson tho guy was kd 22 times in his career to chinny rock would have starched him within 4rds

 

mikes chin is underrated the dude had to be beat pillar to post for someone to ko him never was he put out with 1 punch it was a beating over a lot of rds it took tall rangy guys that could move,jab,and hold him when he was close all the things rocky didnt/couldn't do

 

mental toughness is 1 thing but theres weight classes for a reason and if rock was alive in mikes prime he would either be forced to bulk up massivly or fight at light heavy

 

Tyson would win by KO in my opinion, I wouldn't rule out a Marciano KO either though. If Buster Douglas can do it....

 

buster did it from the outside and clinching in close a style rocky couldn't replicate, i believe rockys reach was a few inchs shorter as well around 68ish if im not mistaken

 

Even so, you can never count out Marciano in a fight.

People picking Marciano probably think that George Mikan would destroy Dwight Howard. Just heart over head. Marciano was a tiny man compared to Tyson and had none of the boxing ability required to survive against him. He was hurt by light heavyweights badly on multiple occasions.

 

I am a huge Marciano fan but this is stylistically Mount Everest for Marciano. Tyson would win by an early stoppage. Marciano is still the greater fighter in terms of legacy.

It's not a knock on Marciano. Dempsey and Frazier would have next to no chance either. In fact, Marciano would probably have a greater chance than either of those fighters. Even if that chance is a fraction of a percent.

 

Better chin? Was his stamina better too?

If Tyson couldn't KO Marciano in 3 rounds, which he may be able to, this fight is all Marciano. He takes Tyson to that place he doesn't like and hurts him until he is laid flat on the canvas for a 30 second count.

 

Again, what makes you think and guarantee that Marciano will beat Tyson after surviving the first 3-5 rounds of onslaught/punishment against a Prime Iron Mike Tyson. Are you suggesting a Prime Tyson gets tired after 3-5 rounds and quit because Marciano is so tough? Again this is Mike Tyson circa 1987-1988 version. Are you also suggesting that after putting all the punishment and breakin down Marciano in the intial rounds then all of a sudden make Marciano stronger and you are also suggesting that Mike can't box and win a decision?

The Mike Tyson that gets tired after 3-4 rounds and gasses is the 35+ year old 2000s Tyson version.


We need a logical explanation from you now.
