Rocky Marciano vs Oleksandr Usyk

the Ukrainian is too big and too skilled in my opinion .. if Rocky was operating today he'd probably be a light heavyweight.. a small one..

 

We’re Archie Moore and Ezzard Charles and Joe Walcott and Lastarza and Louis unskilled? Marciano was not short on extremely skilled HWs…big ones is another matter. I think Usyk gives any fighter to ever live a tough night. His resume is thin but I already have him top 15 if he can beat Fury. How he would handle a smaller fighter that’s extremely dangerous and as good a pressure fighter is unknown. Marcianos more proven so it’s hard for me to bet against him here.
PS no way Marciano is dropping to LHW. He was close to that level once and was to drained. More then likely he bulks up and either stus at a heavier weight at cruiser or jumps to Hw like Usyk did for the money.

 

Hm... Usyk against Marciano, but at cruiserweight, where Rocky is nowadays or real heavy-ones? As in both cases would be a very twisted fight where every boxer has plenty of gift the other one doesn't have.

 

Usky is quite rightly on a high ebb right now, however Marciano might well have the beating of him.

The last thing that you ant to do against Usky, is give him room to clown you.

Marciano will not do this.

He will crowd him, smother him, and take the fight into the gutter.

Marciano was a slickster killer.

This might be an example a of a size bridge (did I just invent a concept?), in the current heavyweight division.

 

If Usyk was fragile mentally or physically then Rocky could stand a chance. But Usyk complements his amazing skills with a rock solid mindset and also a physical toughness to ride out any shaky moments. He wins.

 

I think Marciano would need 15 rounds to win.

 

Usyk is too big, fast and skilled. Think he beats Marciano by points.

 

Marciano had other advantages, but both are intelligent enough, it's just that Rocky looks awkward and for the same reason sloppy sometimes, but he knew very well what and why doing it. Can't tell who wins, but for sure will be hard for any of them doing it. Usyk definitely can't do via knockout against him, while when it comes to Rocky, you can always expect ending the fight that way.
