Tucker was fairly inept at using his reach against "midgets" Tyson and soft-punching Norris, it's highly unlikely that he'd keep Marciano at bay.

Tucker was unimpressive the vast majority of his career.
1987 was his high point, with the win over Douglas and going the distance with Tyson, the rest of his career is not even worth talking about.

    Marciano would KO Berbick.

He'd win by KO against : Weaver, Berbick, Bruno, C00ney, Coetzee, Dokes

He'd outpoint : Witherspoon, Thomas, Tucker, Smith

He failed a drugs test against Norris. Bugner beat Smith and page.

    He beat Orlin Norris.
Doesn't matter to me if he had cocaine in his system, that's up to him.

He beat Smith when Smith was pretty good.
He beat Page when Page was WBA champion.
    It's a win over a top 5 HW definitely.

I give Bugner some credit for beating Page too.

Marciano could not do more than he did in his era he ducked no one imo.
Unfortunately that does not give us a line on how he would do against the 80's heavyweights , which is the subject in question..

Too small, loses to all of them.

    It's common sense

So how come Orlin Norris beat three heavyweight world champions? Shorter than Marciano, same reach, came forward and with less power.

2 washed up heavyweight champions and one very green one.. 2 out of the three fought him to narrow split decisions.. And all 3 were never really great even at their best.. And Norris was a man who fought bigger guys by using his quickness elusiveness and not trying to over power them on the inside. BTW a passed prime Tony Tubbs beat Norris.

Norris pressured Tucker and fought a swarmed fight.he was quicker with combos than Rock but a much lighter puncher.

Height doesn't really matter in boxing unless its like a 6" difference.

Norris is 5'11", half an inch taller than Rocky and typically scaled between 212 and 220lbs or 27 /35lb s more than Rocky.
Tucker was 38 years old when Norris beat him. Norris' reach is 70", 2 inches more than Marciano.
Other than that you are correct.:yep

Norris has no difficulty making cruiserweight, 188 pounds.
At 215 pounds he never looked legit like Tyson did.

Tucker lost their first fight but he got the decision. Norris really went 2-0 there. First time Tony was 40-1, only 32 years old and with Tyson behind bars and former cruiserweight Holyfeild struggling with his title against Foreman Tucker was still regarded as good as anyone within the division at that time. How else did so many people (Don King included) think Tucker would beat Lewis??

Yes but because Norris lived in the modern age he could carry extra weight and drop weight when it suited him. He went up and down. Back and forth. The extra weight being unnatural and artificial..because he also weighed 189lb either side of his 215 plus weights.

Truth is Norris was a natural 5'9" 189lb 70" reach heavyweight who put on and took off weight. He beat the biggest guys that were as good as anyone at that time.
